Diving the Canterbury Wreck in the Bay of Islands

Moored above the wreck of the Canterbury Wreck on a sunny Sunday morning. Smiles all around after surfacing from the Deep dive of their Advanced Course. After a surface interval they all headed back for the final wreck dive. Congratulations to Kate, Jacob, Clive and Sally on completing their Advanced course. Andrea and Martin enjoyed their first dives on this wreck with a couple of fun dives. Mike gave his new Shearwater computer and twin set a good work out on the wreck after recently completing his SSI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression procedures course and honed his skills for the Extended Range course.

In the afternoon we were back out to the wreck with another group from Dive HQ Albany. Nick had two Divemaster trainees assisting him on a PADI Advanced Open Water course with 4 students.

I jumped in the water between dives on my Hollis Explorer Rebreather and snapped off a few photos. The blue water had come in and the vis was great (15m+).
