Trimix Rebreather Diving at Lake Taupo

Congratulations to John Hynes on completing the TDI Rebreather Advanced Trimix Course and Graham Christmas on completing the Poseidon Se7en rebreather course. We were also joined by Martin Wallis who captured some great images of us all diving the submerged Pohutakawa Trees and vertical walls at Motutaiko Island, Taupo.

We had 3 perfect days of calm water and sunshine. The surface water temperature was a relatively warm 20 degrees celcius and dropped to 16 degrees at depth. Apart from the usual scattered Koura (fresh water crayfish), we also spotted a few Rainbow Trout as they cruised by.
